Statement with respect to the information obligation

The protection of your personal data is of special importance to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively on the basis of the legal provisions (GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act 2003 (TKG 2003)). In this data protection information, we inform you of the most important aspects of data processing in the scope of our website. We will use your gathered personal data only for the purpose of making the desired services available to you, or for other purposes for which you have granted your consent, unless there exist other contrary legal obligations.

All personal data will be gathered, processed, and used only for the purpose of the contractual performance, respectively with the consent of the affected persons, and by reason of the justified interest of KNP respectively regarding its customers. KNP has in place extensive organizational and technical measures for the protection of unauthorized access and misuse of these data, which warrant that there will be exact compliance with the said provisions. The measures are reviewed at regular intervals and adjusted in accordance with technological progress and changed requirements.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files stored on your terminal device using the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies for the purpose of making the services offered by us more user friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your terminal device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser at your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set your bowser so that it informs you of the placing of cookies and that you permit this only on a case-by-case basis. If cookies are deactivated, the functions of our website may be restricted.

Data protection statement for Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. For the deactivation of Google Analytiscs, Google makes a browser plug-in available under http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. Google Analytics uses cookies. These are small text files making it possible to store specific information related to the user on the user’s terminal device. These enable an analysis of the use of our website services by Google. The information gathered by the cookie on the use of our pages (including your IP address) as a rule are transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. We note that on this website Google Analytics was expanded by the code „gat._anonymizeIp();“ in order to warrant the anonymised gathering of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is activated, Google shortens IP addresses within Member States of the European Union, or in other contracting states of the EEA treaty; for this reason, no conclusions as to your identity are possible. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address by transmitted to a server of Google in the USA, where it will be shortened. Google observes the data protection provisions of the “Privacy Shield” treaty and is registered with the “Privacy Shield” program of the US trade ministry, and uses the gathered information in order to evaluate the use of our website, to prepare reports for us in this regard, and to provide other services in this respect to us. For further information, see https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en.

We have concluded a corresponding agreement with the provider for contract data processing.

The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 subsection  3 TKG and Art 6 subsection 1 letter a (consent) and/or f (justified interest) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Our concern in the meaning of the GDPR is the improvement of our services and our website.
